In the Summer of 2019 I was invited to participate in the Capitol Hill Block Party poster show. I created a poster for the rapper Aminé. After the show I was commissioned to do two new illustrations of a couple of adjacent artists.
Aminé
Every year Capitol Hill Block Party has a poster show. Artists and designers from the city get assigned an musical act that is performing at the festival and then create a screenprinted short run. In my third year in the event, I was assigned multi platinum rapper Aminé. I illustrated and hand printed a short run of 20 screen prints. (Available for sale.)
Injury Reserve
This poster was for the Arizona Hip Hop trio’s stop at the Seattle venue, Neumo’s.
Sol
Seattle artist Sol played the historic Seattle festival Bumbershoot. This graphic was used for t-shirts sold through the festival merch tent, as well as backdrop graphics during his set.
A month later, the t-shirt was released to the public. I art directed and shot the social campaign.
